Hello everyone Savitar [email protected] today I’ll be showing you a Deck that has been working very well for me. I’m current playing a lot of different decks and this is one of the best. Now you may be thinking “Vietnam Deck?”
So basically it’s an Inferno Dragon, Night Witch, bridge spam Deck.
Sitting at 3.0 Elixir its very cheap and had the ability to three crown an opponent immediately after they play something like a Golem or a P.E.K.K.A. So now that I’ve told you what it is I’ll get into the card Breakdown and then we’ll talk strategy!
Vietnam’s Bridge Spam Deck
Battle Ram. Win condition.
The Battle Ram is this decks win condition and as you’ll see just synergizes so well with the cards it has. Use it to either cycle your opponent out with the Battle Ram or use it to start a huge push with he Battle Ram. Only use it on defense if you have to.
Bandit. Support/secondary win condition.
The Bandit is the Battle Ram’s partner in . She is very good at taking out towers and applying insane pressure to your opponent all for a simple three Elixir. On defense she can be used to take out support such as the Wizard, Musketeer, or . Just make sure you drop her far enough tiles away so she can dash to them.
Night Witch. Support/Defense.
The Night Witch is currently one the best cards in the game and current,y my favorite! She is great with Battle Ram and Ice Golem continuously spawning Bats to apply again a lot of pressure on your opponent. Now on defense use her to get rid of Hog riders, Elite Barbarians (with help from another card) and even something like a lone Giant if you don’t have the Inferno Dragon in cycle.
Inferno Dragon. Tank defense/air defense.
With its buff the Inferno Dragon has gotten slightly better and easier to play. In this Deck it plays the very important roles of being the primary air defender and the tank defense. On offense I don’t recommend starting a push with him as it usually ends up pretty bad however a counterpush could work very well and also if you have a Tower down and are going for a three crown push he’s a great option to throw into the mix.
Ice Golem. Mini tank/defensive meat shield.
The Ice Golem has a very basic purpose. He is to guard your cards whether it be defensively or offensively that being said he is and incredibly valuable card and shouldnt be replaced.
Ice Spirit. Support/cycle.
Another very valuable card for it’s cost the Ice Spirit can take over a match by freezing a troop or Tower. Use him on defense to help slow things down while your damage dealers take it out. On offense use him with the Battle Ram or Bandit to Freeze a defending troop or a Tower to get extra damage.
Poison. Support/main damage spell.
The Poison is one of my favorite spells in the game dominating with Graveyard and Miner and now starting to dominate with bridge spam. Use it to protect your troops from swarms and to strop Graveyard.
Zap. Support/cheap spell.
Zap is another great spell costing very little to reset/get rid of swarms. Pretty basic function that all of you know how to play. The only tip I have for you is to use it in the right situations.
Now that you guys have already known the cards let’s talk about strategy!
With this deck, you want to kind of control the match. What I mean by that is if your opponent has a tank then you want to continuously pressure them into either not playing it or playing it and immediately getting taken out by a huge Battle Ram push.
Against Pump it’s the same thing! Start a push on the side that the pump is for more of a Tower/Pump taking or push the other side for more of a three crown possibility push.
Against a P.E.K.K.A Deck you seem at an instant disadvantage but here’s a tip when playing against them. Vs a P.E.K.K.A deck your two most important cards: the Inferno Dragon and the Ice Spirit. Now the Inferno Dragon is to take out the P.E.K.K.A and the Ice Spirit is to Freeze the P.E.K.K.A, hopefully allowing your Battle Ram to connect. The same rule applies with the P.E.K.K.A if they place it in the back push the other lane immediately and then defend with the Inferno Dragon.
Against Graveyard it gets a little tough you just have to be using your Poison defensively.
The hardest matchup you can have is probably the Hog Exe Lighting Deck that’s becoming so popular. When attacking you may have to Zap the and hope your Battle Ram connects. A Bandit would be a good decision when attacking because she does good damage to the exe when she’s able to dash to him. The Night Witch will be basically useless pushing with because of the Exe but she can still shine defensively against the Hog.
Overall I would say these are your three toughest matchups in order.
Hog Lightning Exe
Since we covered tough matchups let’s look at easier matchups.
Log bait is a good matchup since even though you don’t have a serious counter to the Goblin Barrel you can just overpower your opponent even if they have an Inferno Tower. Don’t forget Bandit can dash to the Inferno if it’s close enough to the river. Also don’t use your Zap on the Barrel use something else and use Zap for your .
Another pretty good matchup is the other bridge spam deck, the phantom Deck. Poison the Musketeers rush the Tower when a Pump is placed and defend their bridge spam with Bandit, Night Witch, Ice Spirit.
As I said, a lot of beatdown decks favor you because of the ability to three crown after they place their tank and the Inferno dragons ability to defend tanks with ease.
Well that’s pretty much it for the Vietnam Deck! Hope you guys enjoyed and wanted to try out this deck. It’s very fun to use! It works well in 2v2, ladder, and challenges.
Again hope you guys enjoyed and I’ll see you later!
