Overwhelming Miner Giant Skeleton Deck

What’s good boiiis, it’s Norbysweg back at it again with one of my best decks overall, this deck I made based on three different Miner Control decks, of course with that little touch of GIANT SKELETON in there.

Trust me guys, once you see this deck you will be more excited that I am right now, so let’s just chill for a little bit (and lower your expectations).

Cards Breakdown

Clash Royale Giant SkeletonGIANT SKELETON – , I love writing in caps lock, this guy is an absolute in the current Meta if you think deeper.

He E-wiz, Baby Dragon, Mega Minion, NW, so the so-hated Golem and Pekka deck is gone foreverrrrrrr (while playing this deck of course).

In the early game your main goal is:

  1. Getting some chip damage, while keeping the Elixir level balanced
  2. While learning your opponent’s deck, get at least one Giant Skeleton on the Tower.

Of course the second one will happen less often, but this deck is a 3.5, so you can easily defend with GIANT SKELETON + Tornado and cycle back fast enough to catch him off guard.

Clash Royale MinerMiner – These days Miner is a very popular win condition, while being one of the best Legendaries, and one of the best Cards in terms of chip damage.

Don’t forget that it can be used defensively, but I’m sure you won’t need it.

More about Miner’s placements at here.

Clash Royale TornadoTornado – Hands down one of the best cards in the game overall.

I’m sure you all know a bunch of stuff that can be dragged onto your King tower, so I’m not gonna talk any further.

Throughout the game, you will switch between offensive and defensive Tornadoes, so deal with it.

You will almost always use it with the Giant Skeleton, so train a bit on Tornado-GS placement before you play competitively.

Clash Royale Electro WizardElectro Wizard – In my opinion that nerf didn’t do much, since in this deck you’ll be using him against Inferno Towers, and mostly air defense.

His stun effect helps in slowing down everything, especially since he has great synergy with the Furnace and Minions.

Just think as almost every Meta deck right now, he hard counters Battle Ram while keeping an eye on air defense too!

Clash Royale MinionsMinions – Graveyard counter, air defense, cheap-multi card, great synergy, Miner-friendly.

Clash Royale PoisonPoison – Your go-to spell to eliminate every annoying Skarmy or Minion Horde or Goblin Gang or anything you can with this terrific Spell.

If he counters your pushes easily, chip away with Miner Poison.

If you need to build a huge push, Use GS+Miner+Poison, along with the remaining support cards.

Clash Royale SkeletonSkeletons – 1 Elixir cheap card, recently nerfed, but still high-value card.

Use them to counter every single-target card that is bothering you, or simply push with Miner+Skeletons to make him react.

Clash Royale FurnaceFurnace – That nerf didn’t do much at all in my opinion, it’s still the best lane pressure Building in the game, and the spirits help you a TON in offense, as well as in defense.

You must have a Furnace down in almost every second of the match, you MUST have it down there to pressure and protect you from any Minion Horde on Gang that may harm you.

General Gameplan

So guys, this is how stuff works.

This deck is based around the terrific splash damage of the GIANT SKELETON, while using the other support cards and the Miner Poison to counterpush.

Here’s a more detailed breakdown of the gameplan.

3.00 – 2.00

In this timestamp, you have some serious work to do, so you can set up the match for a win.

First up, the most important is to place the Furnace down. Your goal is to defend, and get easy chip damage with your Miner. Preferably do not use the Poison.

2.00 – 1.00

Your opponent will surely start to pressure you, so you got to prepare for it properly.

Don’t hesitate to use the GIANT SKELETON, and don’t hesitate to use the Poison. If you can make a huge positive Elixir trade with your GIANT SKELETON, even better.

1.00 – Finish

Your only goal is to get that chip damage. Miner Poison is your best friend of course, but getting that GIANT SKELETON onto his tower won’t hurt much.

If you don’t feel very good, save your GIANT SKELETON and Tornado for defense, while pushing fast with the Miner and Poison.

For those who don’t have the legendaries, or simply your cards aren’t high leveled enough, you should do these replacements.

  • Miner – Since he’s the secondary win condition of the deck, it’s hard to say that you should even think about replacing him. If you really want to play the deck and you don’t have him, I guess Goblin Barrel or Graveyard is OK.
  • E-wiz – Musketeer is a nice replacement, but I like the spawn damage of the E-wiz more.
  • Minions – Bats or Archers are an OK replacement, but Minions synergize better with the Miner, that’s all. You can add Bats too.
  • Poison – Fireball works too, but the damage over time synergizes better with both the Miner and GIANT SKELETON.

Clash Royale GolemGolem Beatdown – You should always pressure the same lane, and get the most value out of the GIANT SKELETON, while Miner-Poisoning continuously.

Clash Royale Lava HoundLavaloon– Furnace in the same lane, and, if the match isn’t going in your way, pressure the other lane with GIANT SKELETON, support troops and Miner. Since they have less ground troops, the Giant Skelly can easily make it.

Clash Royale Goblin BarrelZap Bait – Very hard matchup since the GIANT SKELETON can be easily countered. You should immediately tornado the barrel on your king, so you can gain an advantage. The rest is just defense and Miner-Poisoning.

Clash Royale Hog RiderHog Rider cycle – You’ll be perfectly fine if you cycle back to the Furnace. The rest is just getting value out of the Poison and chipping with the Miner.

Well, that was it guys! Hope you enjoyed my 1k word guide, anddddd, see you in the Crown Championship Challenge!
